Importing Calendar Data

You can import calendar data from other calendar applications in CSV (comma separated value) or ICS (iCalendar) formats.

To import calendar data:

  1. Click on Import on the calendar menu.

The Calendar Import dialog will open.

Select your source file: locate the source file to be imported on your computer.

Belongs to: select who this calendar belongs to.

Display on: select an existing calendar for these events to be displayed on or Add a New Calendar

Timezone: select the time zone of this new calendar.

Click on Import to import the calendar.

Depending on your connection speed and the size of the file, this process may take a few minutes.

If your calendar contains recurring events and you export in CSV format, each recurring event will be imported as an individual event.
