Adding Calendars

To add a new calendar, select Add Calendar from the sidebar menu.

The Add Calendar dialog will open.

Name: Enter the name of your new calendar

Belongs to: Select the name of the user that this calendar belongs to.

Edit access: Determines who will be able to edit or delete this calendar.

Private (Assigned to Only): Means that only you and any assigned contact will be able to edit or delete this calendar.

Administrators Only: Means that anyone with administrative rights will be able to edit or delete this calendar.

All Staff: Means that anyone on your staff (Administrators and Regular Users) will be able to edit or delete this calendar.

View access: Determines who will be able to see the calendar inside or outside your organization.

No One (Not Shared) Means that no one from outside the organization will be able to view this calendar.

Administrators Means that anyone with administrative rights will be able to view this calendar.

Members Only Means that your members will be able to view this calendar, but it will not be viewable by the general public.

Public Means that this calendar will be viewable by anyone.

Calendars determine primary View access, which means that no event can have more open access than the calendar it is assigned to. For example, if you create a calendar with View access equal to Administrators, no event on that calendar can have more open View access, such as Members Only or Public (Everyone).

Category: Select a category for your new calendar.

Note! A default category is added when you create your Famundo site. If no additional categories have been created yet, select the default category.

Color: Select a color for your new calendar.

Click on the color swatch to open the color picker.

Famundo has 25 colors you can choose to color-code your calendars for easy identification.

Click on the Add button to add the calendar.
